Blackberry Smoke se produira pour le spectacle du Nouvel An au Classic Center d’Athens, en Géorgie, et ce sera un moment exceptionnel car le spectacle sera filmé pour un projet live en cours. Nat Myers sera avec le groupe.
Faute d’un nombre suffisant de souscripteurs, Didier CERE renonce pour le moment à son dernier projet d’album, un vinyle, un BEST OF 14 titres accompagnés par les diverses formations avec qui il avait eu la chance de se produire durant ces 43 années, avec des invités de luxe : Neal Black, Redd Volkaert, Red Young, Buddy Whittington, Larry Telford, Jean Yves Lozac’h, Christian Seguret, Fred Chapellier, Nico Wayne Toussaint, Patrick Verbeke, Jeff Zima… et un titre inédit. 03/12/2025 : décès de Stephen Lee (Steve) Cropper, décédé paisiblement à Nashville à l’âge de 84 ans.
Pour des raisons personnelles, Dom quitte THE OWL BAND, qui recherche un nouveau membre à la basse.
CHRIS REA (1951-2025) : Chris est décédé paisiblement le 22 décembre 2025 des suites d’une courte maladie. Le style de son jeu de guitare, en particulier en slide, le rapprochait des musiciens sudistes.
Pour des raisons personnelles, Gaëtan Dily (aussi ex-Bounty Hunter) quitte THE NASTY GATORS, groupe de reprises sudiste de la région nantaise, qui recherche un nouveau membre à la batterie.
Le 22 avril 2026, EarthMotion, le groupe de Tom Aeschbach, fils de Manu Aeschbach (Natchez) aura l’honneur d’ouvrir pour Robert Jon & The Wreck au théatre de l’Alhambra à Paris. Bon sang ne saurait mentir…

Blackberry Smoke will perform at the New Year’s Eve show at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia, and it will be a special occasion as the show will be filmed for an ongoing live project. Nat Myers will be with the band.
Due to insufficient subscriptions, Didier CERE has temporarily abandoned his latest album project: a vinyl compilation, a 14-track BEST OF featuring the various bands he’s had the pleasure of performing with over the past 43 years, with special guests including Neal Black, Redd Volkaert, Red Young, Buddy Whittington, Larry Telford, Jean Yves Lozac’h, Christian Seguret, Fred Chapellier, Nico Wayne Toussaint, Patrick Verbeke, Jeff Zima… and one unreleased track. 2025/12/03 : passing of Stephen Lee (Steve) Cropper, who died peacefully in Nashville at the age of 84.
