Phil Campbell, guitariste historique du groupe Motörhead, de 1984 à 2015, est mort à l’âge de 64 ans, le vendredi 13 mars 2026. La nouvelle a été annoncée sur la page Facebook du groupe Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, qu’il avait fondé avec ses trois fils en 2014. Il serait décédé « paisiblement après un long et courageux combat en soins intensifs ».
Warren Haynes dit ouvrir le 06 mai un nouveau chapitre en rendant disponible « Banks of The Deep End (Live) », un premier aperçu de Dreams & Songs, son prochain projet symphonique, mêlant l’âme de ses compositions à la puissance d’un orchestre symphonique.
Ce titre, initialement plébiscité par les fans de Gov’t Mule, serait ici réinventé, transformé en « une création inédite, ample, cinématographique et profondément émouvante », en témoignant de l’évolution constante de sa musique, tout en restant fidèle à l’esprit qui a marqué sa carrière.
